  1. I've seen it before, though I don't recall where.

It basically comes across as the standard strawman athiest that people can use to laugh at and pat themselves on the back about.

  2. Strawman...?

Do you have an opinion of ex-atheists, in like manner as Ray Comfort's opinion regarding ex-christians (They were never really true christians)?

I have also heard people say C.S. Lewis was never a real atheist lol.

Curious thought, are there any real ex-atheists around in your opinion?

  3. You mean besides pretty much every religious person?

I think you read something into my post that I didn't say. It was nothing about ex-athiests.

  4. I thought you were claiming this guy was a strawman atheist (a false one) which he then turned and flogged.

You mean besides pretty much every religious person?

Well an atheist is an a-theist, so I guess so... possibly excluding deists. Depends on the definition of "religious".

  5. So were you involved with the CC earth quake at all BT? I noticed you disappeared for while there. I hope everything is all well.

  6. I certainly don't trust anyone who drags out the 'I used to be an atheist' line. It's basically meaningless unless you were 'out' and known to be an atheist because anyone can say it.

I'm not saying he wasn't a true atheist or anything like that, I'm saying the lines he used were pretty cliche 'ho ho ho, look at the atheist' stuff.

I wasn't personally involved with anything to to do with the CC earthquake, though lots of people at work built websites and stuff for it.

    Fair enough.
