God doesn't believe in Atheists

I heard Ray Comfort's message today with that title. I hadn't heard it before...It was hilerious all the way through! LOL.
I recommend it to all serious thinking people. Its a good illustration of the watchmaker argument. I tried to find a link to it but I failed. If anyone knows how to get it onto my blog as an audio please let me know. I had it given to me on a cd...its free to copy! YAY.

Commentary on Isaiah

I was listening to David Pawson's commentary on a part of Isaiah (chp 12-24 somewhere around there) today at work, it was so interesting. Isaiah was an amazing tool God used.
There were so many prophecies coming true about all the nations around Israel at the time. It was interesting hearing the context of them aswell! Also ones about the future of the nations. Many even after his lifetime had come true!
There is a thought. I recon that the existence of Israel as a nation today is evidence to the existence of God. So many people over the centuries have tried to willfully kill off the Jews but they failed. All because God will not break His promises to them. He is faithful!

How is it that Israel is able to defeat surrounding nations in the six day war in just six days!
The war of independance was a similar situation, but Israel had nothing. A miracle!

I hope (God-willing) to do a post summarising cool prophecies or something like that one day...when I have time.

Small Talk

Hey everyone,

This post is just about small talk and little things happening in my life.

I thought I would mention for those who like cars that tomorrow I will be learning with my neighbor how to do a manual conversion in my Nissan Skyline R33 with an RB25DE engine in it. Yay! It will be lots of fun. The gear box we are attempting to put in is from a VL Commodore which had a Nissan RB30E engine in it. Good strong box which should go well in my Skyline.
My neighbor also has a Corvette Stingray, 1974 I think the year is...cool car...sounds good :)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My car is done now! Yippee.
It goes good, high geared aswell...5,500rpm at a 100km in second gear. (Red lines at 7 000rpm).

The Gospel

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Mankind walked peacefully with God in a beautiful garden. They were right with Him.

However mankind has chosen to rebel against Him, against their own Maker and did what was right in their own eyes. Death, disease and sorrow entered mankind's lives.

Mankind continued in his stubborness and built great cities in defiance of God.

God found a man (Abraham) who desired God, through him and his descendants God revealed to mankind His own character. God's prophets prophesied of the great things that God was going to do for mankind.

As prophesied by the prophets of old a Messiah was born in Bethlehem...the Son of God (Jesus Christ).

This Son of God walked through the land of God (Israel), He healed the sick and comforted the broken hearted. There were many wonders He did,

But ultimately after proving who He was, God sent Him to pay the price for mankind's sin and rebellion. God showed us unconditional love and gave us a second chance. He is more than fair...He is merciful.

After three days in the grave the Son of God rose from the dead and conquered the curse of death for us all!

And now those who follow after him, meaning... those who have faith (trust) in the Son of God for the remission of sins, those who repent (turn from their old ways), those who go on to be baptised (sins washed away with water) and then those who openly recieve the gift of God's Holy Spirit to live in us. He is making us new people!

God sent His Holy Spirit to be with us even through the toughest times.

We look now for Christ's coming as prophesied by Himself and the prophets of old. One day we shall have a just and good Ruler.

Then we shall know God and be with Him forever more in the place He has prepared for those who follow after Him.
